GOLF TOURNAMENT
VIDANTA 5OTH ANNIVERSARY

Riviera Maya: October 5, 2024

The organizer reserves the right to make changes to the tournament dates, with prior notice to registered participants.
GAME FORMAT:
The tournament will consist of 18 holes under the TWO TEAM SCRAMBLE FORMAT (A-GOGO) WITH 50% HANDICAP (STROKE PLAY) in a single category. The winner will be the team with the lowest net score, subtracting 50% of their handicap sum.

The top three net team scores in the tournament will win a commemorative trophy for Vidanta’s 50th anniversary.

COMPETITION CONDITIONS
1. The tournament will be governed by the USGA rules adopted by the FMG and local rules, as well as competition conditions. Any doubts in interpretation will be resolved by the Rules Committee, whose decision will be final and binding.
2. In case of a tie, the tiebreaker will be the best score on the last 9 holes (from 10 to 18). If the tie persists, the team with the lowest handicap sum will win.
3. Players must start their rounds at the time designated by the Rules Committee, with a 15-minute grace period to commence their rounds. If a player or their starting group is finishing the first hole, a penalty of 2 strokes will be imposed on the first hole. If a player does not show up within this tolerance, they will be disqualified (Rule 5.3.) and will have no possibility of winning O'Yes or Hole in One (HIO) prizes.
4. Pace of play: Players must adhere to the established pace of play and should not unduly delay the game. The penalty for violating this rule is 2 strokes, and repeated offenses may result in disqualification. Players are allotted a maximum of 40 seconds to execute their shots (Rule 5.6).
5. In case of disqualification due to an incorrect handicap, players forfeit any earned prizes, which are awarded to the competitor in the next position. The organizing committee decides if a disqualified player is eligible for previously earned prizes for other reasons.
6. Score submission: Players are responsible for submitting their scorecard immediately after finishing their round in the designated area. Players are required to verify their scores for each hole and address any uncertainties with the Rules Committee. Players must ensure that their scorecards are signed by both the player and their group companions. Violation of this rule will result in disqualification (Rule 3-3b).
7. The use of electronic devices providing only distance information is allowed.

COURSE LIMITS
1. Out of bounds: The playing field is marked and limited, indicating O.B. (out of bounds) by white stakes.
2. Penalty areas are marked with red stakes to identify the area. In cases where a drop zone is marked players may choose to play their next shot from that location. If a player chooses not to take this relief, they must proceed under Rule 17.
3. Assistance/Caddie: According to Rule 10.2b (4), caddies must not deliberately stand on or near an extension of the line of play behind the ball. The penalty for violating this rule is 2 strokes.
4. Winter rules: Players may move their ball in the fairway, rough, and desert areas without approaching the flag (mark, lift, clean, and place). This rule must be authorized by the Rules Committee before play.
5. Cart paths are immovable obstructions.
6. Yardage marks identifying 100, 150, 200, and 250 yards are located in the center of the golf course.
7. In case of doubt in the application of a rule, players will play two balls, with players declaring which one should count. Players then must request a decision from the Rules Judge before signing their scorecards.
8. Caddie fee for 1 caddie per team is $1,000 MXN plus tips.
THE ORGANIZING COMMITTEE RESERVES THE RIGHT TO MAKE CHANGES CONSIDERED NECESSARY FOR THE SMOOTH CONDUCT OF THE TOURNAMENT WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE.

HOLE IN ONE (HIO)PRIZES:
The winner will be the first golfer in the tournament who makes the HIO in the corresponding hole. The second HIO will be considered as the closest to the pin competition. Professional golfers and players under 18 years are not allowed to claim HIO prizes.

· Hole 17 (203 yards): The Million Dollar payment will be a 40-year annuity, meaning that the $1,000,000 prize is paid out as $25,000 USD per year for 40 years. Installments are made the same date each year and commence at the conclusion of the claim investigation. The promotion winner’s rights to payment shall be transferable to his or her heirs upon death. The first payment will be delivered between 4 to 6 weeks following the tournament.
· Hole 5 (180 yards): The Luxury Residence will be delivered between 4 to 6 weeks following the tournament in the destination mentioned in each golf tournament. This prize does not include the property deed related expenses.
· Hole 9 (174 yards): The 2024 SUV will be delivered between 4 to 6 weeks following the tournament in the destination mentioned in each golf tournament. This prize does not include license plates or any additional items for the SUV.
· Hole 11 (170 yards): The 2024 Harley Davidson will be delivered between 4 to 6 weeks following the tournament in the destination mentioned in each golf tournament. This prize does not include license plates or any additional items for the motorcycle.
Vidanta Riviera Maya
· Hole 13 (214 yards): The Million Dollar payment will be a 40-year annuity, meaning that the $1,000,000 prize is paid out as $25,000 USD per year for 40 years. Installments are made the same date each year and commence at the conclusion of the claim investigation. The promotion winner’s rights to payment shall be transferable to his or her heirs upon death. The first payment will be delivered between 4 to 6 weeks following the tournament.
· Hole 14 (195 yards): The Luxury Residence will be delivered between 4 to 6 weeks following the tournament in the destination mentioned in each golf tournament. This prize does not include the property deed related expenses.
· Hole 4 (190 yards): The 2024 SUV will be delivered between 4 to 6 weeks following the tournament in the destination mentioned in each golf tournament. This prize does not include license plates or any additional items for the SUV.
· Hole 9 (177 yards): The 2024 Harley Davidson will be delivered between 4 to 6 weeks following the tournament in the destination mentioned in each golf tournament. This prize does not include license plates or any additional items for the motorcycle.
Vidanta Puerto Peñasco
· Hole 17 (190 yards): The Million Dollar payment will be a 40-year annuity, meaning that the $1,000,000 prize is paid out as $25,000 USD per year for 40 years. Installments are made the same date each year and commence at the conclusion of the claim investigation. The promotion winner’s rights to payment shall be transferable to his or her heirs upon death. The first payment will be delivered between 4 to 6 weeks following the tournament.
· Hole 14 (185 yards): The Luxury Residence will be delivered between 4 to 6 weeks following the tournament in the destination mentioned in each golf tournament. This prize does not include the property deed related expenses.
· Hole 6 (180 yards): The 2024 SUV will be delivered between 4 to 6 weeks following the tournament in the destination mentioned in each golf tournament. This prize does not include license plates or any additional items for the SUV.
· Hole 4 (170 yards): The 2024 Harley Davidson will be delivered between 4 to 6 weeks following the tournament in the destination mentioned in each golf tournament. This prize does not include license plates or any additional items for the motorcycle.
Vidanta Los Cabos
· Hole 8 (195 yards): The Million Dollar payment will be a 40-year annuity, meaning that the $1,000,000 prize is paid out as $25,000 USD per year for 40 years. Installments are made the same date each year and commence at the conclusion of the claim investigation. The promotion winner’s rights to payment shall be transferable to his or her heirs upon death. The first payment will be delivered between 4 to 6 weeks following the tournament.
· Hole 2 (179 yards): The Luxury Residence will be delivered between 4 to 6 weeks following the tournament in the destination mentioned in each golf tournament. This prize does not include the deed to the residence.
· Hole 4 (170 yards): The 2024 SUV will be delivered between 4 to 6 weeks following the tournament in the destination mentioned in each golf tournament. This prize does not include license plates or any additional ítems for the SUV.
Vidanta Acapulco
· Hole 6 (175 yards): The Million Dollar payment will be a 40-year annuity, meaning that the $1,000,000 prize is paid out as $25,000 USD per year for 40 years. Installments are made the same date each year and commence at the conclusion of the claim investigation. The promotion winner’s rights to payment shall be transferable to his or her heirs upon death. The first payment will be delivered between 4 to 6 weeks following the tournament.
· Hole 13 (135 yards): The KIA FORTE LX SEDAN will be delivered between 4 to 6 weeks following the tournament in the destination mentioned in each golf tournament. This prize does not include license plates or any additional items for the SUV.
PUTTING CONTEST PRIZE:
· Hole 17 (203 yards): The putting promotion will have the same claims process as a HIO. If a golfer successfully sinks all 3 putts in succession, they will be the winner. The prize takes, on average, 4 to 6 weeks following the tournament to process.
· If any player makes both the 10-foot and the 30-foot putt, that player(s) will attempt the 50-foot putt (with the golf pro present) after the tournament concludes so everyone can watch. The first player to make the 50-foot putt will win.
CLOSEST TO THE PIN (O´YES) PRIZES:
· The winner of this prize will be the player who leaves the ball closest to the flag in each marked hole par 3.
· There are different prizes in each par 3. Please consult the course tournament guide for this information.
· If the same player is the winner of more than one O’Yes prize, they will have the option of choosing the best prize and giving up the other gifts.
RAFFLE PRIZES:
· The winners of these prizes will be those players who have the tickets with the numbers that will be announced during the awards meal.
· The awards meal is included in players’ registration fees. For players who bring a guest, the cost will be $80 USD. The guest will not have the right to participate in the raffle drawings – only tournament players may participate.
This promotion is in no way intended as, nor may it be construed as, an offer to sell or a solicitation of an offer to buy timeshare, lodging rights, or any similar product or service and may not be construed to modify or become part of any Contract for Lodging Rights and Services or any other contract. All services associated with this promotion are provided in Mexico.
Any dispute related in any way to this promotion, or any related benefit or promotion shall be resolved exclusively in accordance with the dispute resolution provisions set forth herein. Guest acknowledges and agrees that any claim, controversy, or dispute relating in any way to the promotion, any related promotion, or any goods, services, and/or amenities provided thereunder shall, unless voluntarily resolved by mutual agreement of Guest and the Company under the conciliatory procedures of Mexico’s Consumer Protection Agency, be resolved exclusively and finally under the Rules of Arbitration of the Arbitration Center of Mexico (CAM) by one arbitrator of Mexican nationality. The place of the arbitration shall be Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, and the applicable law shall be the law of Mexico, excluding its conflict of laws provisions. Guest agrees that the courts of Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico shall have exclusive jurisdiction in any action to enforce or nullify the decision of the arbitrator, and Guest expressly waives any right to pursue any claim arising out of or related in any way to the promotion or any related promotion in any other jurisdiction or venue that might otherwise be claimed by reason of any present or future domicile or otherwise.
